Rusty's Emmett treatments always do the trick for me when my back is in pain. It is amazing how the body let's go of tension and starts the healing process. Unlike a Physio treatment or massage which can be painful at times, when one has already pain, Emmett treatments by Rusty are pain free and allow the body to let go instead of tensing up even more.

I had another great session with Rusty. I always walk out feeling as though I am walking on air. As well as regaining full use of my arm through Rusty's Emmett therapy - which was very painful because of tendonitis - I found her mindfulness and insights into the mind and body to be fascinating and thought provoking.

I have been visiting Rusty for a number of years now to tidy up anything from major muscle issues to little niggles that won't go away. Have also more recently added a couple of the access bars sessions. If you've ever seen a relaxed blob walking around after one of those sessions it's me. The computer reset gives me unreal sleep patterns for a period of time. Onya Rusty.

Have had a lot of pain with my neck and tried a lot of different treatments (including physio, austeopath, chiropractic) and had a little improvement over a period of 6 months. I had some very incapacitating muscle soreness and swelling in my shoulder giving me very restricted movement. I had a full body Emmett session which helped to get my muscles from neck to ankles reset. Immediately after my first treatment I had regained movement with som discomfort at times. Over the next few days continued improvement was felt. As a follow-up, a week later there was still some corrections required after my muscles settled down. Again another step improvement and a couple of days later I continually feel strength coming back. The Emmett treatment is gentle and Rusty provides a relaxed caring environment and is genuinely supportive to ensure recovery. No heavy handed manipulation that other practitioners seem to employ in the name of physiotherapist and deep massage, saying “the pain will help the healing process”. So pleased with my choice and seeing Rusty for Emmett Technique treatment.

Rusty is amazing,I have been dizzy for 10days following a head injury, also not sleeping well at all-after my session the dizziness was gone!I then had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. I have seen Rusty for Emmet or Access Bars over the years and she never fails to fix me ! I highly recommend having a session .

Absolutely amazing.. I was in agony with sciatica, could only sleep sitting up and couldn't straighten my leg without pain, especially at night. After treatment, I walked down the stairs, had no trouble getting into or out of the car and slept lying down for the 1st time in a week. Feel even better today. I have been seeing Rusty very regularly for the last 6 years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a national treasure!! My situation requires regular treatment to keep my body moving, and I achieve that every time. We talk; we laugh; we share. She challenges me, and I love it. My brother-in-law from Melbourne visited Cairns in 2019. He is bent over with very bad arthritis, so I took him along to Rusty’s. He hobbled in, shorter than me, and strode out vertical, and much taller than me. Simply amazing. He tried 2-3 Emmett Therapists back in Melbourne and could not achieve anything like the same result. Yes, we have a National Treasure right here in Cairns. How lucky are we?

The BEST way to release the kinks and fix the aches and pains that I have found in Cairns. Rusty has magic fingers that find all the spots that needed fixing and even ones I wasn't aware of. Can't recommend enough. AND - you keep your clothes on and there is no oils that react with the skin.

I have been seeing Rusty for the last two and a half years for both Emmett and Access Bars. It is a testament to Rusty's knowledge and skill that I see her less and less for Emmett treatment. Rusty is a thoroughly professional,highly skilled and intuitive practitioner with a quirky nature and great sense of humour. So if your body or mind needs an overhaul or just a tuneup I can't recommend Rusty highly enough and if you understand the value of your ideas being challenged,she will give you a good work out in that area as well.
